Little Elms Daycare Nursery and pre-school in Beckenham

No expense was spared in the refurbishment of our splendid Victorian building in Beckenham, ensuring that our very first nursery set a new standard in childcare.

When Little Elms Beckenham opened in 2009, meticulous planning and significant investment ensured that it would offer state-of-the-art facilities. As such, it has provided a blueprint for the success of our subsequent nurseries, all of which feature the same high standards and excellent resources.

Offering 136 places, Little Elms Beckenham has consistently achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’. The nursery has a baby suite on the first floor for children aged 3 months to 2 years, with a toddler area (2-3 years) and pre-school facility (3-5 years) on the ground floor. Housed in an extension added in 2014, the pre-school features an interactive whiteboard and purpose built cabin in the garden where our qualified teacher can prepare the children for Primary School.

Our spacious garden underwent a full refurbishment in 2017 and offers separate play areas for the various age groups, with garden planters available for our green-fingered little ones. A large awning with integral UV protection allows for all-weather play, while Astroturf and soft play surfacing enable outside play even after rain. With a wealth of toys, a computing area and a full programme of activities – including LTA tennis coaching for pre-schoolers in the summer, French once per week for pre-schoolers and Dance & Movement for every age all year round – included in your monthly fees, there is plenty to keep your child active and interested.

From the fully equipped kitchen, our qualified Chef and Kitchen Assistant ensure a flow of nutritious meals, snacks including plenty of fresh fruit every day. We are working with a local credited supplier to ensure full traceability on all of our meat products. With CCTV in operation and stringent procedures for signing in and out, you can rest assured that we take security very seriously.

Conveniently located close to Clock House and Beckenham Junction stations – with their direct links to central London – Little Elms Beckenham is also close to stops on major bus routes.
